O-kay! Well, if we're doing basics, then you gotta start with this. Primer! Everything else sticks to it. Oh - wait, you moisturize, right?

Yeah! Azami helped me pick out a good one back home. And I always try to sleep before midnight because of "Cinderella time".

[ He doesn't actually understand what that is, but it Does seem important to Azami. ]

[This sweet, sweet lad... Kashuu looks a little confused, though, even if he's simultaneously grateful not to have to start with Moisturizing 101.]

What the hell is Cinderella time...?

I think it's when you go to sleep early so your skin is nice.

Ooh! I totally get that, then. What a cute word for it... Anyway, you've already got your bases covered! Just make sure you drink lots of water, too. Then you'll need way less primer and foundation and stuff, so your makeup will look way more natural!

[9mon]

It's reality important to eat well and keep yourself hydrated when you're doing sports or acting. I always make sure I drink enough.

[slashay]

That's true, that's true. Good! O-kay. So basically, you put this stuff on like you would with moisturizer. Just all over. Want a demo?

Yes, please. It's easier when I have something to look at.

Okay, gimme your face! I promise I won't poke you in the eyes.

[This is a problem he had during skill swap and he just feels the reflexive urge to reassure about it... BUT!! He'll apply said primer in easy and practiced motions, taking very little time.]

[Kumon, who did not see him struggling during skill swap week: what a weird thing to say, of course you won't.

This is his face- it's well moisturized.

This part doesn't seem too bad when Kashuu's the one doing it.]

[Kumon is truly out here doing his best... And Kashuu's having a great time applying things to a well-moisturized face! Amazing, this makeup won't craze or get stuck to dry patches of skin and look awful, he loves it.]

O-kay! So, next, if you're going for a more heavy-duty look, you gotta get foundation and concealer! But if you wanna go for something lighter, you can totally do a two-in-one compact cushion instead. With sunscreen! That part's important. The sun is the skin's enemy.

[Azami is the head makeup artist of the company. He'd raise hell if he learned the guys weren't keeping up with their skincare routines. Please picture a 14 year old lecturing and nagging grown men about this.]

There's a compact cushion? What's that?

Stage make-up is the heavy type?

Stage make-up is super heavy, yeah. Party make-up is just regular heavy! And this- [Fishing one out to show it!] -is a compact cushion. It's like cover-up and sunblock all in one. The coverage is pretty sheer, so it's good for simple, natural looks, see?

[Showing the coverage by patting the cushion onto the back of his hand!]

[Oh there are so many different kinds and things for makeup. He knew some of it thanks to Azami, but it's still overwhelming.]

[Which he has absolutely no experience with.]

[MAKEUP. IT DO BE OVERWHELMING. Kashuu will helpfully lean forward to show him how the sponge compact works, though, pressing down and pulling up the pad.]

See? It's like that! Easy, right? And then all you do is pat it on--

[Time to play pattycakes on Kumon's face.]

[This is extremely good for touch week. Kumon stays helpfully still while he waits for the sponge to be finished.]

[Truly a touch week activity. Once he's finished, he'll point toward one of their many mirrors.]

See? Looks pretty good, right? Super natural!

[9mon]

Whoa! You're amazing at this.

Thanks! It helps that I'm working with a good canvas.

[Ruffling his hair with his free hand after closing up the compact again!]

So - usually I do eyes next, but we can do something simple for you, since we're going natural.

[9mon]

[He leans into the ruffle! Kashuu can do that again if he'd like!]

I don't know what part is simple.

[He will absolutely do that again KUMON REALLY IS JUST A BIG OL' PUPPY.]

It takes, like, a fourth of the time for one thing. We'll just do some shadow! Primer first - this thing, here. Close your eyes, 'kay?

[Hehe, he loves this.

Primer... He feels like he should be taking notes?

He closes his eyes and does his best to stay still.]

[It's like a day at the spa, but free...

Either way, after he applies some eyeshadow primer, he'll do some magic makeup work.]

[It's just some basic shadow in neutral colors, but with a little bit of purple to match his hair... He also grabs a spoolie after that.]

Gotta brush your brows, too.
