[ Danny sits up a little to accept the chameleon in his hands. The blanket falls away enough to show the rest of his face, including the fangs in his mouth. ]
Ugh. I'd rather keep accidentally poking myself while talking than have to play charades while my skin is blue.
Well... [Let's see. He doesn't remember any of the other effects sticking around longer than a week, but if he says a week that's Much Worse for Danny.]

[ he stares at the chameleon sitting in his blue hands and thinks about home. About his parents, his sister, his friends...flying over Amity Park...
thinking about home while he's got blue skin, though, just makes him think of the Nasty Burger. He makes a choking yelp sort of sound as he pulls the beanie down even more, enough to almost cover his eyes. A tuft of white flame escapes the hat by the side of his face. ]
[ Despite his sullen mood, Danny can't help but grin a little at the handholding. He squeezes it a little. Kumon doesn't even fully know what his whole...look right now represents, but he's still willing to touch him despite it.
It does make things a little better.
His eyes mellow out back to their usual baby blue. ]
[ He has no idea what any of this means, but he knows Danny doesn't enjoy any of it. And as far as he's concerned Danny is still himself, no matter how he looks. ]
