Danny comes looking for Kumon here much more quickly this time. He approaches him with two cups from the cafe. ]

[When you don't want to go to your apartment because it's half dead.

The vibes are still thrumming anxiety.]

[ Danny has thankfully largely recovered. He is by no means happy, but...he can keep the sad vibes pretty lowkey now. ]

I'm okay. You were the one having a harder time there.

...I got you something, if you want. Hot chocolate. Or uh, tea. Whichever one.

[ He's always had trouble with stress, but this place is... Stress plus. ]

Oh.

[ Surprise melting into warmth once again. ]

[ At the request for the tea, Danny's vibes perk up a bit with something like pride. ]

Sure! Here--it's lemon ginger. Apparently it's supposed to help with nausea and feeling sick and stuff.

[ Hands the cup over gently! ]

[He takes a small sip of the tea. It's nice, but he thinks Danny just being here helps more.]

Ha... Yeah? I didn't know that.

I mean, I guess? I don't know, I don't drink tea. That's just what the little tea cartons at the cafe said.

[The emotions edge more towards fond and amused.]

I like tea more than sweet stuff. It really does help.

Really? Huh. Glad I got the tea, then.

Originally I was only gonna get the hot chocolate, but then I got the tea because it sounded like it might be good for you, just in case.

Hot chocolates good if it's cold out, but tea has more health benefits. Juza [brotherly affection] loves sweets a ton.

Then I guess it all works out, because I love hot chocolate. [ sips some of it! ]

Really? Cool! All we have in Sunrise is a ton of stuff for healthy smoothies.

For real? We have hot chocolate, cider, and all the baking supplies you could ever want.

Oh my god. Okay, screw our smoothies, I'm heading to your place every day for snacks and drinks.

Okay, but you gotta help me bake the snacks.

Sure! I mean, I'm no baker, but I can turn things on and put them in and take them out like a champ.

I'm not much of one either, but I can make a good gyoza.

Whoa, seriously? Now that's a real skill!

I help my mom make it all the time. I bet we could make some here with the stuff in the grocery store.

I guess so, huh. Just warning you though, I don't know how to cook like, at all.

I'll just make you chop stuff.

I don't think that'll be a whole lot safer than keeping me near the heat, but sure.
