[ Hey Kumon! When he enters the art room, Danny will already be there, a pile of popsicle sticks and black paint next to him. ]

Oh. Hey, Kumon. Are you...okay, after that?

[It was horrible. Every time, it's horrible to watch somebody die.]

... I will be, eventually, I think. What about you?

[He takes a seat next to Danny and his project.]

...yeah. I'm okay. It wasn't...fun to watch, but. [ shrugs a little ] It's not like we can just not.

We're just... stuck there until it's over.

[He shifts a little so their arms are touching.]

[ he blinks at the touch, then gives Kumon the tiniest grin. Not exactly happy, but--commiserating, at least. ]

Yeah.

I hardly even knew her, but...it doesn't feel right, watching someone die. Especially not when it's so personal.

[Buddy, this all sucks so bad. There's a tiny smile back, at least they're not alone in all of this.]

Especially for this kind of thing, you'd think they'd at least get some privacy. I talked with her a little, but... getting it all put out there like that seems so cruel.
