Yes. Apparently Shale's face changed and they started talking about having a sister. I think it might have brought a memory of theirs back.

It's Steel's and they had a sister. Their face changed when they took the ornament back too.

It was my sister's."

When I asked about their sister, they said she was, "most wonderful thing this world had to offer".

Face-wise. A little more human, and young, but kind of hard to tell the age. Feminine?

They definitely used "was". I don't know if that's because they haven't seen her in a long time or something happened to her.

They only seemed to remember her for a little while.

I think it did, but I can't be sure. Their armor snapped back in place.
